Does this sound like you? You could be magnesium deficient.
Hey There Fitlifer,
I’m so excited you’re here. I hope this newsletter gives you exactly what you need when you need it. My goal is to help you feel great, look great, and live your best life.
Even when you are struggling with all that life is throwing at you.
Let’s dig in.
Here’s what we’ll learn together today:
🏖️ What can you do to get a summer body even though you have less than a month?
😫 70% of people are magnesium deficient. Do you struggle with the symptoms?
🦠 Mold is a growing problem (dad joke intended). Where is it hiding in your home?

🏖️ Is It Too Late For My Summer Body?
I get asked this question a lot. People feel like they procrastinated all winter, then again all spring…
The answer is no. It’s not too late.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, remember that even a small step forward is still progress. You don’t need to read endless articles on the perfect diet or try to design a complex exercise routine.
Just start simply. That way, you can start today. Make one healthier choice at a time.
Get rid of your stress belly: Meditation, grounding, and clinically proven supplements with ashwagandha will help you reduce cortisol. As soon as you get rid of the cortisol you’ll be surprised how quickly the weight will fall off.
Say no to glyphosate and toxins: By eliminating these harmful substances from your diet, you'll reduce inflammation and support your body's natural ability to burn fat more efficiently.
Stay hydrated: Ensure you drink enough water throughout your day. If plain water is challenging, try adding a squeeze of lemon, infusing it with your favorite fruits like watermelon or strawberries, or (my favorite) a scoop of ultra-hydrating Organifi Glow.
Move your body: Find an activity that feels right for you, and go do it! Whether that’s hitting the gym, hiking, walking, horseback riding, dancing, or any other form of movement you enjoy.
Prioritize sleep: Adequate sleep is crucial for motivation and making good choices. If you’re having trouble getting good sleep, think about ways you can plan a relaxing routine. Maybe it’s time to grab a book to read in the evenings before bed or your favorite supplement!
Above all, remember to love your body every season, whether you feel “swimsuit ready” or not. Confidence is your best ally (and your sexiest feature).
😫 7 Signs You May Be Magnesium Deficient
Are you magnesium deficient? (over 70% of us are!)
Less than 30% of adults consume the recommended daily allowance of magnesium. That’s shocking – because it’s one of our most important minerals.
It’s found in every cell in your body. It’s responsible for hundreds (if not thousands) of processes. That’s why, if you don’t get enough of it, the symptoms can be all over the place.
Here’s a look at the top 7 signs of low magnesium:
Muscle Aches and Cramping - Ever get a muscle cramp that wakes you up in the middle of the night? Magnesium is required for muscle relaxation. Without it, they can stay in a state of contraction – which always seems to happen in the middle of the night, right? So uncomfortable.
Eye Twitches - Magnesium helps ensure your muscles and nerves communicate appropriately. Lack of magnesium may cause the nerves to send incorrect signals to the muscles, which causes them to twitch. So annoying.
Sleep Issues - Magnesium helps your body promote a calm state by acting sort of like a sedative. It does this by supporting the activation of the parasympathetic nervous system – without that, you have trouble achieving optimal sleep. So frustrating.
Fatigue - Magnesium is essential for synthesizing adenosine triphosphate (ATP) in the mitochondria. ATP is the primary molecule that stores and carries energy within cells. It’s like a rechargeable battery that keeps them running and doing their job. Without it, your batteries feel low and sluggish. So exhausting.
Headaches - A drop in magnesium levels may cause blood vessels in the brain to constrict which can play a role in headaches and even migraines… and no one wants one of those. So agonizing.
Stress and Anxiety - Magnesium helps your body regulate its stress response. People with low levels have an increased risk for chronic stress, anxiety, and depression. So demoralizing!
Brain Fog - Magnesium also contributes to optimal brain function, which allows us to stay sharp and think clearly. Low levels make us more likely to experience brain fog, poor concentration, and memory impairment. So frightening.
Need a magnesium boost? Eat more pumpkin seeds, almonds, and cooked spinach, and/or take a trusted magnesium supplement.
🦠 Where Mold Might Be Hiding in Your Home
Mold is a growing problem (pardon the pun) and I experienced my own health scare after discovering mold in my home. I’d hate for anyone else to go through what I did. So I’m always looking for places it may be hiding. Here are a few unexpected ones I’ve found recently:
☕ Coffee - Moldy coffee? Count me out! Sounds awful. But as long as you keep an eye on the expiration date, you shouldn’t have trouble with your coffee getting moldy, right? That’s sound logic – but we’re actually talking about your coffee maker. That’s a spot where mold can definitely thrive. I’ll just be waiting here while you go scrub that out.
🪴Houseplants - Are you an over-waterer? If so, your houseplants could be putting more into the air than just oxygen. Mold can grow in the soil, on the surface, and all over the plant itself. What a pain – as if they weren’t already hard enough to take care of! Sadly, I don’t know of a good way to save a moldy houseplant. Let me know if you do!
💦 Washing Machine - If your clothes don’t get properly dried, they get mildewy. And if your washing machine doesn’t get cleaned often, it can get moldy. There are just so many nooks and crannies for it to hide! Think about the rubber seals all along the door, the lint trap, the detergent dispenser…
🧊 That Little-Known Pan Under Your Fridge - You know that pan under your fridge? Did you even know there WAS a pan under your fridge? I was in my late twenties before I did. It’s called a drip pan, and it helps keep the floor clean. And you guessed right – it can also be a breeding pit for mold. While you’re cleaning the fridge, don’t forget the water and ice dispensers, too.
Mindset: 🎉 Congratulate Yourself
Do you ever congratulate yourself? For everything that you’ve been through, all the work that you’ve done and the results you’ve achieved?
I never used to honor myself.
There was always a….I can do better.
Always chasing the next.
I think this is the biggest trap for most humans in western culture.
This empowers us to double down on the illusionary forces of the five senses.
When we can live every day from a place of gratitude for everything that we have and everything that we’ve done, magic starts to happen more often.
More of the “accomplishments” get done without you working “so hard.”
It’s like the whole world conspires to help you because you get it.
I call this breaking the matrix.
Syncing up to your infinite being.
Spiraling your inner spark upwards.
Vertical ascension.
Try this on today and let me know how you feel.
Just start by looking at yourself in the mirror and saying thank you.
See what magic comes.
